TRULY THE BEST OF WHAT WE HAVE!

What do I mean by the "best we have?"

The best inshore fishing of the entire year is right now through April and I don't have to tell you what happens after that.....or do I?

  • Heat

  • Hot Water

  • Humidity

  • Daily Thunderstorms

  • Lightning

  • Hurricanes

  • Super Crowded Boat Ramps!

Boat ramps? You won't use boat ramps if you’re 'Jax Boat Club Members', they’ll have your boat in the water waiting for you.

Back to the fishing...

On any given day:

  • Redfish, giant bulls still making 'big fish' memories.

  • Speckled Trout, oh I love me some winter ''T-Rex sized'' trout!

  • Black Drum, they're getting bigger.

  • Big fat Whiting, over 15 inches!

  • Sheepshead... getting beat up hard, don't have to say anymore.

  • We even had a 15-20 pound tripletail next to the boat, 2 weeks ago!

  • Flounder seem to be moving straight east in the river and are willing to go home with you!

  • Winter Weakfish, [aka: Yellowmouth Trout] filling the fish box gaps.

  • And croakers, big ones!

And most of the truly undesirables are gone, not biting, and not annoying me.

I LOVE THE COLD WATER!

And if you've read any of my other reports or how-to's here before, you’ve read how I love K.I.S.S fishing. No heavy rods or sinkers. No chasing bait. I use live & dead shrimp and can catch every species from the list above. In the river and at the jetties… with ease.

It's just a glorious time of year for the Jettywolf and I, on the river or at the inlet.

Don't miss it, time fly’s when you’re having fun!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
