Jax Boat Club Cost, Usage & Other FAQs
THE CLUB
WHAT IS THE JACKSONVILLE BOAT CLUB?
Golfers don’t buy golf courses… they join the Country Club and share the facilities. Jacksonville Boat Club operates a lot like that. We are a private Boating Club whose members have all the benefits of owning their own boat but none of the hassles and expense of maintenance and repairs that go along with it. They also don’t have a boat loan or insurance payments. They don’t even pay to store the boats. Without all that aggravation, they also go boating a lot more and are able to experience just the enjoyable part of being on the water with family and friends… and none of the aggravations.
HOW LONG HAS THE COMPANY BEEN IN BUSINESS?
The Jacksonville Boat Club has been in business for 15 years. We are members of the Jacksonville Marine Association as well as the Better Business Bureau where we maintain an A+ rating.
WHERE IS THE JAX BOAT CLUB LOCATED?
Our address is 14603 Beach Blvd. at Palm Cove Marina. Our office floats on the water behind the restaurant, Marker 32!
MEMBERSHIP
WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP?
You must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid drivers license. Membership is open to boaters of all skill levels. Whether you’ve never boated before, or you’ve boated for years, the Jacksonville Boat Club will welcome you as a member. We provide excellent training, too.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO JOIN?
We have different levels of membership based on the size of the boats you want to use, not on how much boating you want to do. You pay a one-time initiation fee and monthly dues. Initiation fees start between $3,500.00 and $6,900.00 with monthly dues in the $300.00 to $500.00 range.
WHO CAN I BRING WITH ME?
The US Coast Guard plaque on each boat establishes how many people can be on board. Members can bring as many guests as they like, as long as it does not exceed The JaxBC published rating. We have some boats that safely hold as many as 14 and a few shallow water fishing boats that hold only 3.
ARE THERE ANY USAGE CHARGES?
No, you will have no usage charges. Your only additional cost is for the fuel that you use.
RESERVATIONS
HOW DO I MAKE RESERVATIONS?
Members have private online accounts to make reservations. They log on to pick their boat and departure time.
HOW DO I KNOW THERE WILL BE BOATS AVAILABLE FOR ME TO USE?
The Jacksonville Boat Club has a great reputation for always having boats available. We also have “same day” boating. While all of our members enjoy unlimited boating, there are two different levels of membership based on the size of the boats they want to use. To learn more about our membership levels call 904.477.9794.
