Explore Jacksonville Landing
Filled with places to dine and shop, you can explore Jacksonville Landing. Reach the area by boat and get a meal, enjoy a few adult beverages, do a little shopping, or just people watch for a while. This is one of the top spots in Jacksonville and there's something for everybody.
Camp at Cumberland Island
If your family loves to camp, head north to Cumberland Island. You'll enjoy beautiful beaches, plenty of natural areas, and so much more. This is a top destination for camping and it's found within the Jax Boat Club cruising area.
Head to Fort George Island
You can take the boat to Fort George Island Cultural State Park and enjoy plenty of fun throughout. The lighthouse is a popular spot to explore with 92 stairs to climb. You'll be able to take in incredible views of the island when you reach the top.
It's also fun to discover the Bob Sikes Cut channel, which is the section between Little St. George Island and St. George Island. This is a good spot to enjoy a bit of relaxation. You can do a bit of fishing or even enjoy kayaking here.
While you're at Fort George Island, you can also enjoy the Ribault Club, Fairway Loop trail, and much more. There's plenty to explore and you can spend the entire day here.
Hit the Mayport Jetties for Saltwater Fishing
If you want to head out to enjoy some saltwater fishing, the Mayport Jetties are one of the best spots. It's found right at the mount of the St. Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean. You'll find all kinds of fish here including sea bass, grouper, tuna, and more. You might even spot some dolphins.
Cruise the St. Johns River
Maybe you just prefer to get out on the boat and enjoy cruising the St. Johns River. This option offers access to Jacksonville Landing and several restaurants for lunch and dinner. You can hit any of the following options:
