December 8 Weekend Fishing Forecast

Offshore, we’re starting to see some grouper but the numbers just aren't where they should be.  Red Snapper season was rescheduled for this weekend Dec 8, 9, and 10 but with the worst cold front of the year rolling through at the same time, hardly anyone was able to get out.

We canceled all 3 days because of the weather.  There is some cobia around.  Black Sea Bass are starting to show up too.  And the Wahoo and Blackfin bite is good from day to day but is way offshore.

Bottom fishing for vermilion, triggers, and red porgy from 125 feet, out to the ledge is great these days…  if you can get the weather window.

Lots of options this time of year, lots of fish to catch, but the weather will continue to be the key factor!
