EZ BAIT FOR BIG FISH!

You can hardly go anywhere in the river and ICW in Jax right now without the 50/50 chance of catching FREE BIG FISH BAIT!

I call'em the "green scourge”.  Some call them Saltwater Piranha or even Bluefish.  (I must be color blind.)

There's a good chance you'll catch a few and cut them into chunks - they make great BIG REDFISH BAIT.

Heck, why not, they're FREE!

Of course, depending on where you are, one or two will suffice.

And the chunks don't have to be huge. There's enough oils and fresh smells for a Redfish, preferably a big monster Red, to sniff that bait out from 40 feet below.

THIS BLUEFISH WAS A SEASONS WORTH OF CUT BAIT AT 12 LBS.

Even in the shallow water, it works. And is part of my money saving, keep it simple theory, of fishin'.

I never toss back a Bluefish or two, caught in the morning. Because I just may press it into service later that tide.

And can you believe some people eat them, too?

Personally, I am a bit of a fish-snob, I guess. I weigh the "worth-time-taste" value. Worth keeping a bunch. Time to clean a bunch. Taste, up against Whiting, Trout, Flounder, Redfish, Black Drum, Sheepshead.

For me, they will remain Brutus T.'s Redbass Lunch.

Wanna see a "CDSP - Short" (Capt. Dave's Sport Fishing) on my Youtube channel, of a nice Jetty Redfish taken on Bluefish just the other day?
